Wachovia Opens Manhattan Wealth Management Office

NU Online News Service, Oct. 9, 2003, 4:54 p.m. EST – Wachovia Corp, Charlotte, N.C., has opened a Wachovia Wealth Management office in Manhattan at 12 E. 49th St., New York.

The office is the 14th wealth management office that Wachovia has opened in the New York area but the first in Manhattan. The office will sell insurance, estate planning services, financial planning services and other financial products and services to wealthy people.

Joseph Giglia, former chairman of the asset allocation committee at OffitBank, New York, will be the managing director in charge of the Manhattan office.

The Manhattan office staff will include an insurance specialist, three relationship managers, two credit advisors, two client management associates, an investment management advisor, a custody advisor and a wealth strategist.
