NU Online News Service, Sept. 30, 2003, 12:03 p.m. EDT – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, Kansas City, Mo., has agreed to use firewall software from Tumbleweed Communications Corp., Redwood City, Calif., to filter spam and viruses from its electronic mail and to ensure that e-mail communications with doctors, hospitals, brokers and health plan members meet federal health privacy and health data security standards.
