Hartford Hires Former White House Communications Official

NU Online News Service, Sept. 25, 2003, 2:02 p.m. EDT – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has hired Joshua King to be vice president of media relations.

King previously was a consultant at Penn, Schoen & Berland, Washington, a polling firm.

From 1993 to 1997, King was director of production in the White House communications office. He also produced a pilot for a dramatic television series set in Washington for Lifetime Television.

King has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Swarthmore College.
