NU Online News Service, Sept. 18, 2003, 3:09 p.m. EDT – Zurich Life, a unit of Bank One Corp., Chicago, has worked with the BISYS Group Inc., New York, to introduce TXLife, an automated system for feeding preliminary life application data into Zurich Life’s back-office computers.

Zurich Life can use the system to draw preliminary application data directly from general agents’ agency management systems, general agency Web sites and agent Web sites, the company says.

The Association for Cooperative Research and Development, Pearl River, N.Y., has certified the system, Zurich Life says.

Ken Olson, president of life brokerage at Zurich Life, says he hopes general agents who use the system will come to think of Zurich Life as their back office.
