NU Online News Service, Sept. 18, 2003, 3:45 p.m. EDT – Pershing L.L.C., Jersey City, N.J., has agreed to offer the NaviPlan Standard financial planning system to the 670 broker-dealers that use its NetExchange Pro account management and trading system.
The NaviPlan planning system comes from Emerging Information Systems Inc., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The system can help investment advisors develop financial plans that include insurance, estate planning, retirement and education needs, Emerging Information says.
Pershing is a unit of The Bank of New York Company Inc., New York. Its broker-dealer customers have relationships with 55,000 advisors.
