Principal Licenses Global IQX Sales Software

NU Online News Service, Sept. 17, 2003, 11:34 a.m. EDT – Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has agreed to license sales and distribution software from Ottawa, Ontario, from Global IQX Inc., Ottawa, Ontario.

Principal will be using the Global IQX Engine and IQX Administrator software to give sellers of its group insurance products the ability to get quotes through the Web, Global says.

The IQX Engine uses a set of configuration rules to generate quotes and enrollment transactions that are customized to meet an insurance carrier’s specifications, Global says.

Principal will use IQX Administrator to link the IQX Engine system with its existing systems.
