CONEXIS Acquires CompLink

NU Online News Service, Sept. 17, 2003, 12:17 p.m. EDT – The CONEXIS unit of Word and Brown, Orange, Calif., has acquired CompLink L.P., Dallas.

Both companies administer employee benefit plans, but the CompLink acquisition will help CONEXIS expand its ability to provide direct billing services and services related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, CONEXIS says.

Craig Firestone, the president of CompLink, will join CONEXIS, and CONEXIS will keep CompLink’s operations in Dallas, CONEXIS says.
