Hancock Hires Signator Wholesaler Manager

NU Online News Service, Aug. 18, 2003, 12:15 p.m. EDT – John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Boston, has hired James “Chip” Logan to be vice president of Signator Financial Network, Hancock’s distribution arm.

Logan will manage Signator’s internal and external wholesalers.

Logan previously was vice president of broker-dealer relations at the U.S. operations of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam. He also has been ING’s Western regional sales manager for corporate wholesalers.

Logan has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations.

John Hancock Life is a unit of John Hancock Financial Services Inc., Boston.
