Federal Agency Sets Up Health Benefits Web Site

NU Online News Service, July 28, 2003, 10:49 a.m. EDT – The federal Employee Benefits Security Administration has set up an employee health benefits Web site at http://www.dol.gov/elaws/ebsa/health/

The site gives information about topics such as the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

The site also provides a health benefits glossary and links to other resources, including state insurance department Web sites.

EBSA, an arm of the U.S. Department of Labor, previously was known as the Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration.
