NU Online News Service, July 24, 2003, 10:43 a.m. EDT – PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Cypress, Calif., has expanded its Secure Horizons Medicare Supplement program.
PacifiCare, which once emphasized Medicare health maintenance organization programs, will be selling Medicare supplement plans in Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.
PacifiCare already offers Medicare supplement plans, which are also known as Medigap plans, in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Oklahoma and Texas.
The PacifiCare Medigap program includes basic “Plan A” coverage as well as plans that provide richer benefits.
