Foundation Source Founder Becomes Vice Chairman

NU Online News Service, July 17, 2003, 1:05 p.m. EST – Foundation Source Philanthropic Services Inc., Norwalk, Conn., has hired Daniel Schley to be its executive chairman and Christopher Infurchia to be its president.

Douglas Mellinger, who was the company’s founder and chairman, will now be a vice chairman, Foundation Source says.

“Mellinger will work on key aspects of the company’s strategy and vision, as well as continue his present efforts to grow the company’s base of alliance partners in the financial services and legal sectors,” Foundation Source says.

Foundation Source administers private charitable foundations.

Schley, the new chairman, has founded, acquired and operated several financial technology companies, Foundation Source says.

Infurchia has also worked in sales, marketing and management at several financial technology companies, including the tax software division of H&R Block Inc., Kansas City, Mo.
