McCamish Acquires PMACS And Hires PMACS Staff

NU Online News Service, July 14, 2003, 12:11 p.m. EDT – McCamish Systems L.L.C., Atlanta, has acquired the Producer Management Accounting and Commission System for the Insurance Industry from E/W Group Inc., East Granby, Conn.

McCamish also has hired the E/W employees who have developed and supported the PMACS system, McCamish says.

PMACS helps insurance sales organizations automate agent licensing, agent contracting, agent appointments and agent commission payments.

Customers can combine the PMACS system with a policy-administration system or run the PMACS system by itself.

Customers also can choose between running PMACS software on their own computers or buying PMACS services from McCamish through a business process outsourcing or remote processing arrangement, McCamish says.
