NU Online News Service, July 3, 2003, 1:04 p.m. EDT – Transamerica Reinsurance, Charlotte, N.C., has hired Jung-Hui “Jeffrey” Huang to be country manager for Taiwan.
Huang will oversee Transamerica’s reinsurance service center in Taipei as well as business development in Taiwan.
Huang is a native of Taiwan who has 32 years of life insurance actuarial experience.
Huang holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the National Taiwan Normal University. He is a past chairman of the Actuarial Institute of the Republic of China and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan.
Transamerica Re is a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands.
