NU Online News Service, June 23, 2003, 4:05 p.m. EDT – John Alden Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee, has started selling small group health insurance in Alaska.

John Alden products for small groups include life insurance, short-term disability insurance, dental insurance, supplemental accident insurance, medical savings accounts and premium-only plans as well as major medical insurance.

John Alden began selling individual insurance in Alaska in 2002.

John Alden is a unit of Fortis, Brussels.
