Former Nationwide CFO To Teach At Ohio State

NU Online News Service, June 19, 2003, 11:26 a.m. EDT – The Ohio State University business school has named Robert Oakley to be its Shepard Executive-in-Residence.

Oakley, who was chief financial officer of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Columbus, Ohio, will teach courses on insurance, risk management and finance.

Oakley has a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Purdue University along with a master’s degree in business administration and a doctorate in finance from Ohio State. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and the Chartered Property-Casualty Underwriter professional designations.
