NU Online News Service, June 16, 2003, 11:51 a.m. EDT – National Living Settlements Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., has hired CPRi Communications, Teterboro, N.J., to help it market the living settlements concept to older consumers.

National Living buys the right to collect life insurance death benefits. The company is hiring a marketing firm to emphasize that it buys benefits rights from older, healthy policyholders as well as from policyholders who are suffering from terminal illnesses.

For an older policyholder who no longer needs a policy or no longer can afford the policy, agreeing to a living settlement can be an alternative to letting the policy lapse, National Living says.
