McGinnis To Lead CNA Life

NU Online News Service, June 11, 2003, 11:35 a.m. EDT – CNA Financial Corp., Chicago, has named Robert McGinnis to succeed Robert Patin as president and chief executive officer of the CNA Life and Group Operations unit.

Patin recently announced his retirement.

McGinnis will be responsible for CNA’s individual life, institutional markets and group operations. He began working for CNA in 2001 as chief operating officer of group operations.

McGinnis previously was chief operating officer of the small business group at UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn.
