NU Online News Service, May 7, 2003, 1:03 p.m. EDT – Lockwood Advisors Inc., Malvern, Pa., is introducing a collection of new products and services that independent financial advisors can offer their clients.

The collection includes a mutual fund wrap program, a mutual fund supermarket and an on-line trading system.

Some large financial services companies offer similar services for independent advisors but also compete for retail business. Lockwood, a unit of The Bank of New York Company Inc., New York, says it sets itself apart by not competing for retail business.

Lockwood is organizing meetings in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and 15 other cities to promote the new products and services.
