NU Online News Service, May 1, 2003, 6:32 p.m. EDT – Advest Inc., Hartford, a unit of The MONY Group Inc., New York, has named Daniel Mullane president.

Mullane, who previously spent three years working as president of Advest’s private client group, will continue to report to Grant Kurtz, Advest’s chairman.
