NU Online News Service, April 22, 2003, 5:09 p.m. EDT – CNA Financial Corp., Chicago, has introduced the Flexible Protection Plan, a benefits program that combines small amounts of life insurance, disability insurance and skilled nursing home insurance.
CNA will be writing the plan through its Continental Assurance Company, Continental Casualty Company and CNA Group Life Assurance Company units.
CNA has the approvals it needs to sell the plan in 40 states. The plan is not available in Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Utah or Vermont.
