Transamerica Updates Retirement Products

NU Online News Service, April 11, 2003, 11:24 a.m. EDT – Transamerica Retirement Services, Los Angeles, has introduced the Transamerica Director Series II and Transamerica Partner Series II retirement plans.

Transamerica sells the Director Series plans through financial advisors and the Partner Series plans through independent retirement plan administrators.

The new plans, which replace the Director Series I and Partner Series I plans, offer more investment options, lower fees and more flexible fund-selection guidelines for plan sponsors, Transamerica says.

Transamerica reports that it has improved the enrollment program for both new plans.

Transamerica also offers a free, optional assessment of each participant’s retirement savings needs and a free, Web-based planning tool that uses Monte Carlo simulations to help participants allocate their assets.
