NU Online News Service, April 11, 2003, 11:18 a.m. EDT – The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has introduced a new survivorship universal life policy, the Stag Last Survivor Universal Life Plus policy.

The policy, which is designed for the estate-planning market, insures two people and pays a death benefit after both have died.

The policy offers a no-lapse guarantee to age 100 for a predetermined, level annual premium. In most states, policyholders can get a prepayment discount by paying the premiums early.

Hartford will distribute the policy through stockbrokers, financial planners, bank representatives, independent life insurance agents and property-casualty agents.

Hartford is issuing the policy through its Hartford Life Insurance Company and Hartford Life and Annuity Insurance Company subsidiaries.
