NU Online News Service, April 9, 2003, 12:13 p.m. EDT – The BISYS Group Inc., New York, has created a business unit that will provide support services for companies that sell separately managed accounts.
Separately managed accounts are large, diversified investment portfolios controlled by individual investors.
The new BISYS unit will handle administration of separately managed accounts, portfolio accounting and administration, settlement services, billing services and reporting services, BISYS says.
BISYS has named Kevin Keefe, senior vice president of its separate account services unit, to run the new unit.
