BISYS Hires Suquet

NU Online News Service, April 7, 2003, 11:18 a.m. EDT – The BISYS Group Inc., New York, has hired Jose Suquet to be president of its insurance and education services unit.

The unit distributes insurance, provides back-office support for insurance sales operations and sells insurance training and licensing services.

Suquet succeeds Leonard Reynolds, who will “assume high-interest strategic and tactical responsibilities, including technology, e-commerce, business development and carrier relations,” BISYS says.

Suquet previously was a senior executive vice president at AXA Financial, New York, a unit of AXA S.A., Paris.

Suquet has a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Miami. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation.
