Neuberger To Advise Hartford Retirement Plan Clients

NU Online News Service, April 3, 2003, 4:59 p.m. EST – The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has picked Neuberger Berman Inc., New York, to provide investment advisory services for employers that use Hartford 401(k) plan services.

Neuberger will act as an investment advice fiduciary under Section 3(21)(A) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Hartford says.

Neuberger will recommend investment menus based on a plan sponsor’s employee demographics and plan status.

Neuberger’s own mutual funds will not be available through the program.
