NU Online News Service, March 31, 2003, 11:16 a.m. EST – MetLife Inc., New York, has introduced MetSelect, a 401(k) plan administration program for small and midsize employers.

MetLife says it is building a national network of local and regional benefits administrators that will help it offer high-end, customized administrative services to smaller employers that want something other than a generic, off-the-shelf administrative services package.

The program will offer customized enrollment kits, Web-based administrative tools, a choice of plan designs, and access to many different investment options, MetLife says.

MetLife says it will be marketing the program through brokers as well as its own financial advisors.
