NU Online News Service, March 17, 2003, 12:25 p.m. EST – Conning Research & Consulting Inc., Hartford, has published a new report, “Life Insurance Demutualization – An Interim Report Card,” that suggests demutualizations have had little effect on U.S. life company operations.

So far, demutualizations have not had much noticeable effect on life insurers’ profits, acquisitions or capital-raising efforts, the firm says.
