Aetna Hires Medical Staffer

NU Online News Service, March 7, 2003, 11:51 a.m. EST – Aetna Inc., Hartford, has hired Dr. Cheryl Pegus to be national medical director for women’s health.

Pegus previously was vice president of product development and scientific alliances at LipoScience Inc., Raleigh, N.C.

Pegus, a cardiologist, has a medical degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University.
