Independence Blue Promotes Four At AmeriHealth

NU Online News Service, March 4, 2003, 12:12 p.m. EDT – Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia, has announced four promotions at its AmeriHealth New Jersey and AmeriHealth Administrators units.

AmeriHealth New Jersey is a major medical insurer, and AmeriHealth Administrators is a large health plan administration company.

Independence Blue has named William Haggett to be president of AmeriHealth New Jersey, Daniel Pedriani to be president of AmeriHealth Administrators, and George Grimes to be chief operating officer of AmeriHealth Administrators.

Haggett previously was the senior vice president of government programs at Independence Blue and Pedriani was a senior vice president at AmeriHealth.

Grimes has been the chief financial officer at AmeriHealth Administrators.

Independence Blue has also given Susan Sendlewski, a marketing vice president at AmeriHealth New Jersey, responsibility for all AmeriHealth sales and marketing efforts in New Jersey.
