Cotton States Reports Higher 4th Quarter Net Income

NU Online News Service, Feb. 28, 12:04 p.m. – Cotton States Life Insurance Company, Atlanta, is reporting $2 million in net income for the fourth quarter of 2002 on $13 million in revenue, up from $1.8 million in net income on $13 million in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2001.

The company sells term life, whole life, universal life and other products. It reports sales of whole life policies for use in the funeral insurance market have been particularly strong.
