Callahan To Head Transamerica Retirement

NU Online News Service, Feb. 20, 3:58 p.m. – Transamerica Retirement Services, Los Angeles, has promoted Kent Callahan to president and chief executive officer.

Callahan has been a senior vice president for business development at Transamerica Retirement, which is a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands.

Callahan has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Peter Welsh, who has been a regional vice president in Transamerica Retirement’s central region, will succeed Callahan as senior vice president for business development.

Welsh has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Indiana University.
