Bank Broker-Dealer Activity Increases

NU Online News Service, Feb. 20, 10:04 a.m. – Brokers in banks generated $24,601 in sales in December 2002, up 7.3% from the total for the previous month, according to the Bank Insurance and Securities Association, Wayne, Pa.

Average productivity for licensed bankers increased 70% from November 2002, to $2,481, BISA says.

BISA’s bank broker-dealer revenue index increased to 102, from 101.
