Old Mutual Spins Off Regional Offices

NU Online News Service, Jan. 21, 4:09 p.m. – Old Mutual U.S. Life, Baltimore, says it has converted the Northwest and Southwest regional offices of its Americom Life unit into independent master general agencies.

The offices will sell products from Americom and another Old Mutual unit, Fidelity & Guaranty Life. Joe Sulzinger will head the Northwest general agency and Bruce Fisher will head the Southwest agency.

Old Mutual will keep an Americom regional office in East Lansing, Mich., under Bill Gray, and a second regional office in Dallas, under Bobby Albrecht.

Old Mutual is a unit of Old Mutual P.L.C., London.
