NU Online News Service, Jan. 21, 4:15 p.m. – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Simsbury, Conn., has introduced a program, the Complex Claim Advice service, to deepen its relationship with group disability insurance customers.

Hartford has designed the program for employers with at least 50 covered lives that buy Hartford LTD insurance but self-fund short-term disability plans.

Those employers can now use the complex claim program to pay Hartford to evaluate and administer large, complicated STD claims.
