NAIC Elects Csiszar Vice President

NU Online News Service, Jan. 17, 2:47 p.m. – Insurance regulators have elected Ernst Csiszar to be the new vice president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Kansas City, Mo.

Csiszar, the South Carolina insurance director, previously was the NAIC’s secretary-treasurer. He succeeds Illinois Insurance Director Nat Shapo, who has resigned.

Regulators have elected Oregon Insurance Administrator Joel Ario to succeed Csiszar as NAIC secretary-treasurer.

Csiszar and Ario were both elected by acclamation.
