NU Online News Service, Jan. 16, 2:54 p.m. – First Community Bancshares Inc., Bluefield, Va., says its First Community Bank N. A. subsidiary has completed the acquisition of Stone Capital Management Inc., Beckley, W.Va., an investment advisory firm, through a stock swap.
Stone Capital manages $94 million in assets and will continue to operate under its old name, First Community says.
Joseph D. Stone III will continue to be president of Stone and will also become chief investment officer of First Community’s trust and financial services division.
