Firm Conducts 2,020 Federal LTC Seminars

NU Online News Service, Jan. 15, 9:24 a.m. – LTC Consultants, Nashville, Tenn., a long-term care insurance training firm, says it has completed 2,020 employee education seminars for the new Federal Long-Term Care Insurance Program.

The seminars have attracted 88,499 attendees, and 63% of the attendees who have bought LTC coverage have bought compound inflation protection, LTC Consultants says.

The company has also produced a video and a Web seminar to promote the program.

A joint venture formed by MetLife Inc., New York, and John Hancock Financial Services Inc., Boston, is running the program. More than 20 million federal employees, retirees and military personnel are eligible to participate.
