MONY Hires Compliance Chief

NU Online News Service, Jan. 6, 5:15 p.m. – The MONY Group Inc., New York, has hired Jay Cohen to be its chief compliance officer.

Cohen, who will be a vice president at MONY, will be responsible for privacy and ethics as well as traditional compliance supervision.

Cohen has worked in compliance at companies such as Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., and Oxford Health Plans Inc., Trumbull, Conn. He has a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and a law degree from Yale Law School.
