NU Online News Service, Dec. 18, 10:42 a.m. – Aetna Inc., Hartford, has hired Raymond Marra to run the group life and disability product team at its group insurance division.
Marra previously was the vice president in charge of the medical stop-loss and group reinsurance operations at Hartford Life Insurance Company, a unit of the Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Simsbury, Conn.
Marra has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Connecticut. He is certified as an Employee Benefits Specialist and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Schaumburg, Ill.
