Pru Promotes Rice

NU Online News Service, Dec. 4, 11:17 a.m. – Prudential Securities Inc., a unit of Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., has named Michael Rice president of its private client group.

Rice, who previously was the executive director of the firm’s retail branch operations, succeeds Jamie Price. In addition to the private client group, which serves retail customers, Rice will be responsible for Prudential Bank and Debt Capital Markets.

Rice joined Prudential in 1997 as senior vice president of strategic business initiatives. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania.
