NYLIM Develops New Retirement Ed Program

NU Online News Service, Nov. 20, 1:02 p.m. – NYLIM Retirement Plan Services, Norwood, Mass., is introducing a new “Listen and Learn” retirement education and communications program for retirement plan members.

The program provides separate materials aimed at members in the 21-35, 36-50 and over-50 age categories. The program also provides generic materials aimed at members of all ages, for employers and other plan sponsors that put together their own educational kits.

Sponsors that use NYLIM kits can choose a motivational theme, a contemporary theme or a just-the-facts approach.

Sponsors that want to use videos to educate employees can get “The Better Investing Video Series,” a 10-part series that discusses topics such as saving for children’s education and avoiding common investment mistakes. The series appeared this fall on U.S. public television stations.
