Nov. 14, 2002 — Fremont Investment Advisors Inc. said two analysts on the Fremont New Era Value Fund (FNEVX) have been added to the team that manages the portfolio.

The analysts, Joseph Cuenco and Harshal Shah, joined Nancy Tengler, Fremont’s president and chief investment officer, and Noel DeDora, senior portfolio manager, on the $20-million fund. Cuenco and Shah are both value-oriented investors, a Fremont spokeswoman said.

Cuenco joined Fremont this year. He was previously a stock analyst with Montgomery Asset Management. Shah joined Fremont last year. He was a senior analyst with Wells Capital Management from 1994 to 2000.

Fremont New Era Value debuted in January 2001.
