QuickQuote Offers Temporary Health Insurance

NU Online News Service, Nov. 4, 4:00 p.m. – IHateFinancialPlanning.com has selected QuickQuote.com, Reno, Nev., to offer its customers short-term health insurance. The product is aimed at individuals who are out of work or who need coverage during new job probationary periods, says QuickQuote, an Internet insurance marketplace.

“Our partnership with QuickQuote allows us to provide users of our Web site with access to health insurance, which we believe is an essential component of any personal financial plan,” says Suzanne Hunstad, editor and spokesperson for IHateFinancialPlanning.com, which is affiliated with the U.S. operations of ING Groep NV, Amsterdam.

After answering a few simple questions, an applicant can obtain several insurance plan choices, QuickQuote says. The applicant can then order the chosen plan online through an abbreviated online application with e-signature capability and a credit card payment option. Consumers typically have a policy in force within 24 hours of applying, the company says.
