NU Online News Service, Oct. 14, 10:01 a.m. – Hub International Ltd., Chicago, says one of its agencies, Burnham Insurance Group, Battle, Mich., has purchased Warner Associates Inc., Montgomery, Ala., an agency that uses direct marketing to sell life and health insurance to retail customers of financial institutions.
Hub, an insurance brokerage with operations in the United States and Canada, did not give the price or other terms of the acquisition.
Warner, founded in 1983, generates about $1.4 million in annual revenue. It will continue to operate under the direction of Darrel Warner, its current chairman, Hub says. Warner will become a vice president at Burnham.
