NU Online News Service, Oct. 4, 5:05 p.m. – The American Council of Life Insurers, Washington, has hired Oklahoma Secretary of State Mike Hunter to be its chief operating officer.
Hunter will assume his new duties in mid-October.
The move comes on the heels of the announcement that the ACLI has hired Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating, a Republican, to be its new president and chief executive officer. Keating will take over at the ACLI in January 2003, after his term as governor expires.
