Michigan Blue Acquires DenteMax

NU Online News Service, Oct. 3, 4:20 p.m. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, Detroit, has acquired DenteMax, Livonia, Mich.

DenteMax manages a dental preferred provider network that has contracts with 30,000 dentists located throughout the United States. DenteMax network dentists provide dental care for 3 million people.

DenteMax will continue to operate as an independent dental care network with separate and distinct operations, and Ken Dallafior will continue to be the president of DenteMax, Michigan Blue says.

The price of the deal and other terms were not immediately available.
