Minnesota Life Sets Up Beneficiary Counseling Program

NU Online News Service, Sept. 23, 4:45 p.m. – Minnesota Life Insurance Company, St. Paul, Minn., has hired Pricewaterhouse Coopers L.L.P., New York, to provide free financial counseling for beneficiaries of its group universal and variable group universal life insurance policies.

The program is also available to terminally ill employees receiving accelerated death benefits.

Services include a financial reference guide; access to Web-based financial calculators and planning courses; a personalized financial plan; free telephone assistance; and advisory sessions with PricewaterhouseCoopers financial counselors who are accountants, lawyers and financial planners.
