NU Online News Service, Sept. 12, 1:05 p.m. – Health Net Inc., Los Angeles, has hired Dr. William Bracciodieta to be regional chief medical officer for its Health Net of California and Health Net of Oregon units.
Bracciodieta will be based in Health Net’s Woodland Hills, Calif., office.
Bracciodieta previously was chief medical officer for Trigon Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Richmond, Va. He also has worked for Humana Inc. in South Florida and for several health plans in California.
Before Bracciodieta went to work for managed care companies, he was a neurologist in private practice.
He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and his master’s degree in business administration from Pacific Western University.
