Nationwide Appoints Five Retirement Reps

NU Online News Service, Sept. 10, 10:43 a.m. – Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, has hired five new regional retirement plan consultants.

The consultants are Thomas Beck, in San Francisco; Kellie Elder, in Dallas; Jason Heine, in Fishers, Ind.; Kristin Radel, in Columbus; and Joseph Scheurer, in Bernardsville, N.J.

Beck will handle a region that includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. Previously, he was a regional marketing director for American Skandia in San Francisco.

Elder will handle a region that includes Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Elder previously worked for a regional financial planning firm in Dallas.

Heine will handle a region that includes Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Before joining Nationwide, he was a representative with American Express Financial Advisors.

Radel will handle a region that includes Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. She has been working as a marketing division manager for Nationwide Pension Services.

Scheurer will handle a region that includes New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Before he joined Nationwide, he was a representative for two large securities brokerage firms.
