NU Online News Service, Sept. 5, 10:41 a.m. – Zurich Life, Schaumburg, Ill., today announced the appointment of Mark A. Davis as chief actuary.
Before joining Zurich Life, Davis served as principal at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, headquartered in New York, where he worked in asset/liability management, mergers and acquisitions, and was responsible for the company’s financial services practice in the Chicago office.
Davis is a past-president of the Chicago Actuarial Association and has served on a number of other industry association committees. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Davis received his B.S. and M.A. in Actuarial Science from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.
